Beader's Challenge

The patterns are by Ann Paxton and Chris Manes and now is the time to get started on one. These patterns are stitched in tubular peyote using Delica beads. While a bit challenging, they are a wonderful way to brighten up the holidays. If the Christmas rush gets in the way of beading, then consider stitching Carneval for Mardi Gras. Or choose from one of the others: Pyra (fire), Hydra (water) Gaia (Earth) and Zephyr (Wind) patterns. We carry all the delica colors in stock for all of these patterns.

Learn how to bespangle them with beads in our Bead Embroidery class. In the class, Kat will show you techniques for quick and easy finishing. They are cute and perfect! Purchase either the doll form or the doll pattern and be on your way to creating a heirloom or the latest icon. Either way, embellish your very own Spangle Doll to your heart's content and enjoy!

Buy a Lanyard - Help a Good Cause
We are proud to introduce Jessica Pyne to you. Jessica is a high school student and a "Swim Angel" who helped raise money for the Edmarc Hospice and the Transitional Care Unit at CHKD by joining in a Swim-a-thon. Jessica is continuing her fundraising efforts by making and selling lanyards. Each lanyard costs $10 and will be made in your school colors or the colors of your choice. Jessica donates the proceeds of each sale and is hoping that the money she raises will go to buy DVD players, DVDs, games and toys for the children to enjoy while they are in the hospital. She will provide a notice to each donor indicating how much was donated to each organization.
